Sorry for this. The reason is:
{{{
sage: 1 in IntegerRange(5)
True
sage: int(1) in IntegerRange(5)
False
}}}
and that alphabet-vd.patch now makes IntegerRange a default for
alphabet over integer. I don't know what to do...
