Dear colleagues,
Sage is a free open-source mathematics software system whose mission
is to create a viable free open source alternative to Magma, Maple,
Mathematica and Matlab. As a satellite event of the international
algebraic combinatorics conference FPSAC, we are organizing a
week-long Sage workshop:
Sage Days 49: Free and Practical Software for (Algebraic) Combinatorics
Orsay (40 minutes by local train from downtown Paris)
June 17th-21st 2013

Tentative schedule:
-------------------
* Monday-Wednesday: coding sprints, design discussions, ...
* Thursday-Friday: tutorial for Sage newcomers, with a slant toward algebraic
combinatorics
Sage newcomers are very welcome to join from the beginning of the
week. There won't be specific events organized for them, but we will
be available for questions and discussions while they get through
tutorials on their own or work on their personal projects.
Registration and lodging:

Participation to the workshop is free. To register, please go to above
web page and fill in the poll. We have negotiated a reduced price at a
nearby hotel (66€ for a twin or double room); see also the web page
for how to reserve a room.
*URGENT*: there is only a limited number of twin rooms so we recommend
to reserve as soon as possible; that is now.
Support:

There is some limited travel and accommodation support, especially for
US participants. See the web page for details.
*URGENT*: the dead line for application is March 30th.
Later applications will be considered as long as funds are still
available
