Here's the planned timeline or SAGE-1.5: (1) I will create an alpha tarball with new arithmetic stuff by Saturday (and *hopefully* earlier).
(2) People will test building it and integrate their code into it, then send me patches. (3) I'll integrate the patches, and do lots of testing and bug fixing over the "Thanksgiving week". (4) Release official 1.5 version on Nov 27. This will be a major release. Summary of what will be new: * New arithmetic architecture. * Fully compiled matrix implementation * Notebook interfaces improvements (e.g., hide left pane for D Harvey) * Martin -- vastly improved signal handling * SageX -- many new features (e.g., inlined like weave, etc.) * Official support for Windows Cygwin and Linux Itanium. * Misc other stuff that people have and will send me. Thanks!!! Is this OK with everybody?
