Since both SFU and UW are PIMS participants, there is a very good case to be made for a PIMS funded Sage Days at SFU. We should write a 1 page proposal:
- Emphasize UW/SFU link (collaboration between different PIMS sites!) - Come up with other sources of funding. That way PIMS can match rather than foot the entire bill. Doesn't even have to be 1:1. Do we have other funds? - Speaker list. Good names help - Time frame: When should PIMS sage days be happening? I'd say December 2007 at the earliest. - Undergrad involvement/educational aspects Do people already have information/documents along these lines they wish to share? If we are aiming for late 2007/2008 we should probably submit a proposal soon. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ To post to this group, send email to [email protected] To unsubscribe from this group, send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] For more options, visit this group at http://groups.google.com/group/sage-devel URLs: http://sage.scipy.org/sage/ and http://modular.math.washington.edu/sage/ -~----------~----~----~----~------~----~------~--~---
