Hi Nick, FLINT is really in its infancy, and it certainly will be pyrexed into SAGE at the earliest opportunity.
As for the linear algebra, this is not my implementation (well the Gaussian elimination is, but not the Lanczos). It only works over GF2, since then each element can be represented as a single bit. We will have nice linear algebra routines in FLINT soon I hope, but we don't currently have anything other than the Lanczos and Gaussian elimination. Our first priority has been to work on basic arithmetic and number theoretical functions, and polynomials. Linear algebra will come soon after.
