I merged in your __pow__ code and everything you sent me from before now.
It would be useful if you could do:
sage: hg_sage.pull()
sage: hg_sage.merge('tip')
$ sage -ba
$ make test
and address any issues, then hg_sage.send('latest.bundle')
It would also be good if you could somehow get your point counting
code into the SAGE library, though I'm not sure yet where/how.
