I really like it. It looks a lot cleaner than the current interface,
because there are not so many buttons distracting you from the content
of the notebook. This is an advantage that increases with the number
of features.

A very nice example of this is the table of contents of the
documentation that you added to the menu system, which would not have
been possible without menu's. Since the interactive documentation is
rather slow, this is an especially nice way to get very fast to the
right section.

My guess is also that the average user will be the most happy with a
drop down menu system, because this is how nearly all graphical
applications work. I might be demanding too much here, but maybe it
could be possible for the user to select different styles? Such an
option would have the rare effect of keeping everybody happy.
