Yep.  In the SAGE rapper for part, I just do that
as a special case (i.e., dont' call part for n <= 1)

Hmm.  This reminds me of the Hitchhiker's guide to the universe....

Anyway, if you look at the source code, you'll see that
the default input is 10 for some reason.   This
