Macaulay2 is a very powerful program for algebraic geometry,
developed by Dan Grayson and Mike Stillman, who have both
been working very actively on it lately. It's also an optional SAGE
package. They finally setup a mailing list for M2 discussion, so
if you're interested in M2 I strongly encourage you to join:
