Hi Martin,
The new singular package that you made doesn't build on OS X (intel)
-- see error message below. This will delay sage-2.8.6 release until
we figure
out how to build it (or decide to revert to the previous singular and
temporarily revert your fast gcd wrapper). Can you try building your
singular package under OS X intel? Then let me know what you think
we should do.
The error at the end of the build log is this, and I also put the
current sage-2.8.6 pre-release here:

It has the new singular package, and a new cython package.
It's actually going to probably be somewhat difficult to release,
because of build problems, I think. (I won't be able to work
