Thanks. That's helpful. Unfortunately it also means at least I have no clue how to fix the problem. You might try just installing clisp system-wide (using your package management system), then tell SAge to use that by typing in SAGE_ROOT touch spkg/installed/clisp-2.41.p14 and also touch spkg/installed/clisp-2.41.p13 for good measure, then typing make to continue the build as if clisp successfully installed.
