Hi,

Here is a response by Johann about the issues he pointed out. He says
I ship some very old version of the tutorial in the binary for intel os x 10.4.
Indeed, it turns out that that binary just happens to be the *only* binary I
distribute that is obtained by doing "sage -upgrade" repeatedly since
2.8.10, and "sage -upgrade" doesn't fully upgrade the html versions of
the docs at present.

I'll build a fresh binary of intel os x 10.4 sage....

FYI the tutorial shipped with SAGE 3.0.1 for Intel MacOSX Tiger
(v10.4.x) is dated October 28, 2007. On the web, the latest
(http://www.sagemath.org/doc/html/tut/tut.html) appears to be dated
May 4, 2008. Many of the issues I reported seem to have been fixed in
the later version of the documentation. I would suggest determining
why the later version of the documentation was not included in v3.0.1.

Regards
Johann
