Aldor is not free as I am sure many Axiom/FriCAS developers will tell
you. PoSSo is still being maintained by Traverso in Pisa, but it has
64 bit issues and build problems with recent (i.e. anything newer than
4.0) gccs. It is also not as fast as say SIngular for its GB and FGLM
code, so there is little incentive to do work here. The code is not
publically available, but would be licensed under the GPL if somebody
asked (at least that is what Traverso told me about a year and a half
ago).
