I'll see that request, and raise you: In the source tarball, the sage-README-osx.txt file has the execute bits set, even though it's just a text file. Can one of the release managers just run a `chmod a-x` on that file? I would be very grateful. For bonus points, we could sort out the Sage.app stuff so that it works well enough to use by default, and then update that file appropriately...
