The spkg-install is small enough so that I think you could just post the new spkg-install. While you're at it, you should also update SPKG.txt, and if you're really ambitious, go through all the requirements at http://wiki.sagemath.org/SPKG_Audit. (For example, the sqlite spkg doesn't have the necessary Mercurial repos.) When you're done, put the new spkg in some web-accessible place (your sage.math home directory is good) and post a link in the trac ticket for review. That should be it, although someone who knows more about "spkg'ing" should correct me. Thank you so much for your work on this!
