The SPKG.txt for mpir-1.2.p4 shows:
== Changelog == === mpir-1.2.p3 (Nick Alexander, June 9, 2009) === * Update to latest MPIR 1.2 final release. === mpir-1.2.p2 (William Stein, June 4, 2009) === * Update to latest MPIR 1.2 pre-release Shall this just be ignored? Do we want a trac ticket for it? Shall whoever created the patch add a quick note in the trac to say SPKG was not updated? Since there is a possibility mpir might be a cause of a failure on Solaris, it might be worth forcing a 'make check' on Solaris in all cases. The test suite takes under 6 minutes on my Blade 2000 (2 x 1200 MHz). If I do that, then I could just create a p5 and add whatever comment should have been added on p4. Comments? If mpir is found not to be the cause of the problem I'm seeing on t2, then forcing a check is probably not worth it. But if it does, doing a check might be a good idea. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ To post to this group, send email to [email protected] To unsubscribe from this group, send email to [email protected] For more options, visit this group at http://groups.google.com/group/sage-devel URLs: http://www.sagemath.org -~----------~----~----~----~------~----~------~--~---
