This email is flame bait.  You are asking people to post examples of
specific acts that made other people feel "burned".  I do not think it
is appropriate to have this discussion on sage-devel.   The discussion
should be offlist (because it could easily offend people) or on
sage-flame:

In my experience, when somebody complains about something and it
doesn't makes sense to me, this often means I don't genuinely
understand the situation or the person is not expressing themselves
sufficiently clearly for me to understand.
