+1.  It definitely suggests one should trust results from stable
versions of Sage, which is not the case.   Especially for research,
the first thing one should learn is to not trust results from any
mathematical software, and always be suspicious, compute things in
multiple ways, run consistency checks, use your head, etc.

I'm sure there are several hundred bugs in every stable version of
Sage.  (And the same goes for other sufficiently sophisticated math
software.)   Please fix some of them:
