I've created a new .spkg from a CVS snapshot.

I've tested this on:
* 32-bit OS X (bsd.math)
* 64-bit OS X (bsd.math)
* 32-bit Solaris (Sun of mine)
* 64-bit Solaris (Sun of mine)
* 64-bit linux (sage.math)
Perhaps some others can test this, and hopefully close
