while looking into updating gap to 4.4.12, I noticed that guava used to be a separate spkg depending on gap. Then it got merged with gap for no apparent to me reason. http://trac.sagemath.org/sage_trac/ticket/3337
Logically, guava is a gap package, among many others. (currently, guava is the only one incorporated in Sage...) Would it make more sense to keep them as separate spkgs?
