Hi, I'm the one who created this spkg and i've already tweaked the setup.py with various levels of success. The older spkg (from before 1.0) already had two different setup.py files (for gfortran and g95) and I looked at the differences and copied them around. The point is, i think, that compiling inside the sage environment is a bit different.
