Is there a documented definition for what SAGE_CHECK is suposed to be used for? Is it for packages to run their self-tests, if SAGE_CHECK is set to yes?
I have just created an iconv package. I have put the code to run the self-tests in spkg-install, but commented it out. If SAGE_CHECK is supposed to run the self-tests, then I'l make the tests conditional on that being set.
