before 'make' I ran ' export SAGE_CHECK="yes" '

note that for lines:

Error in file(out, "wt") : cannot open the connection
r-2.10.1/src/src/include/Errormsg.h
r-2.10.1/src/src/include/R_ext/Error.h
Error, maximal step1 bound for P+1 is 4294967295

I ran out of disk storage at about the same point. I freed more space
and resumed the build by issuing 'make' again. The final error
install.log is:

sys 0m0.250s

sage: An error occurred while testing pyprocessing-0.52.p0
Please email sage-devel http://groups.google.com/group/sage-devel
explaining the problem and send the relevant part of
of /home/erik/src/sage-4.3.3.alpha1/install.log. Describe your
computer, operating system, etc.
If you want to try to fix the problem yourself, *don't* just cd to
/home/erik/src/sage-4.3.3.alpha1/spkg/build/pyprocessing-0.52.p0 and
type 'make check' or whatever is appropriate.
Instead, the following commands setup all environment variables
correctly and load a subshell for you to debug the error:
(cd '/home/erik/src/sage-4.3.3.alpha1/spkg/build/pyprocessing-0.52.p0'
&& '/home/erik/src/sage-4.3.3.alpha1/sage' -sh)
When you are done debugging, you can type "exit" to leave the
subshell.

I've placed files describing my host environment here:
http://erikgalicki.dyndns.org/sagemath/

Also, I note that I'm running the same Linux distribution, on the same
processor architecture, and encountered the same problem described in
this post:
http://groups.google.com/group/sage-devel/browse_thread/thread/4bef86f4eabac321/0e657555348ee4a2?#0e657555348ee4a2

Please let me know anything I can do to be more helpful. Thanks.
