As it stands, updated optional spkgs for the new release are nowhere
to be found
(e.g. gap_packages and database_gap)

Shouldn't
http://sage.math.washington.edu/home/release/sage-4.3.3/sage-4.3.3/spkg/
also contain optional packages that were upgraded?

Or these packages can be put directly to sagemath.org
