Hi folks, I'm addressing this email to anyone who would like to get started on contributing to the Sage community, but don't know where to start.
Have you ever wondered how the Sage development process work? Have you ever felt the urge to get your hands cracking on a small task just to familiarize yourself with how to contribute to the Sage community? You want to contribute something, but you think that your questions are just too newbie and too stupid to ask? Well, then worry no more. I'm willing to help you get involved in the Sage community. For example, I'm willing to devote my personal time to walk you through the development process. As a starter, I have created ticket #8676 [1] which adds some new documentation to the Sage library. If you want to get involved, read over that ticket and review it. The Developer's Guide [2] contains guidelines for reviewing tickets. I know it can be overwhelming for a beginner to read that Guide. Just drop me an email or respond to this message, and I would help you on your initial steps to becoming a Sage contributor.
