For the short term, one could produce a tcl/tk package and integrate
that into Sage. However, one also need to consider the long term. For
example, if the package is to be a standard package, then someone or
some people need to step up to maintain the package for at least a few
years. An unfortunate aspect of open source projects is code that is
no longer maintained. I can appreciate why you would request such a
new addition to Sage. But you also need to understand that people need
to volunteer to maintain code for years to come. It's very sad that
once some chunk of code goes into Sage, months later you find that its
developer is no longer willing or have no time to maintain the code.
