For the short term, one could produce a tcl/tk package and integrate that into Sage. However, one also need to consider the long term. For example, if the package is to be a standard package, then someone or some people need to step up to maintain the package for at least a few years. An unfortunate aspect of open source projects is code that is no longer maintained. I can appreciate why you would request such a new addition to Sage. But you also need to understand that people need to volunteer to maintain code for years to come. It's very sad that once some chunk of code goes into Sage, months later you find that its developer is no longer willing or have no time to maintain the code. -- Regards Minh Van Nguyen -- To post to this group, send an email to sage-devel@googlegroups.com To unsubscribe from this group, send an email to sage-devel+unsubscr...@googlegroups.com For more options, visit this group at http://groups.google.com/group/sage-devel URL: http://www.sagemath.org To unsubscribe, reply using "remove me" as the subject.
