It might be different on 't2' (I've not tried), since ATLAS of the T2+

What I mean is ATLAS is unaware of the T2+ processors, whereas it has information about the UltraSPARC III+ processors. That's why it takes so long to build on 't2'

ATLAS seems to be a bit problematic in Sage, with many of these issues outstanding a long time.

* MartinX is finding it is not building on his i5-750 processor processor.
(we need to create a trac ticket for that. Does MartinX have an account?)

* There is no tuning information on the T2+ processors on 't2.math'

* On 't2,math' ATLAS dumps core in one of the tuning routines, so we have a hack which returns a reasonable (unoptimised) value from the tuning routine

* ATLAS ignore CC variable and dumps core if one tries to build with SunStudio
