Hi! It seems now that numpy-1.4.1 and scipy 0.8. are ready for testing!
I tested it in Ubuntu 10.04. and Francois Bissey (many many thanks to him, because he helped me a lot with this!) tested it in sage-in- gentoo and it worked. We would need now tests for other plattforms also, and I'm quite optimistic now to get this into sage-4.6. see http://trac.sagemath.org/sage_trac/ticket/9808 for download links, patches and some installation notes. It could be possible that the spkg-install has to be changed. I test out if it works soon.
