Ok latest update: numpy-1.4.1 and scipy-0.8 should now be ready! (see ticket #9808; http://trac.sagemath.org/sage_trac/ticket/9808 )
Many many thanks to fbissey for the help with the spkg-install script, and kcrisman for additional testing! I have now a question: Should we merge it into sage-4.6. now or not? numpy-1.4.1 is stable and quite well tested, it only fails on the ppc- linux, which is not on the supported list in the README.txt file of sage. Short installation: install the package normally and da sage -ba after install to get rid of the warnings. A patch for the failing doctests is in the attachment of the ticket. -- To post to this group, send an email to sage-devel@googlegroups.com To unsubscribe from this group, send an email to sage-devel+unsubscr...@googlegroups.com For more options, visit this group at http://groups.google.com/group/sage-devel URL: http://www.sagemath.org
