I disagree. I've had examples of colleagues who use sage (but never posted) and have come to me for help with a ticket. I want to get them involved with development, so I get them to create a trac account.... I'm not sure what the right solution is though. It's possible that the hassle of e-mailing a human may be enough to deter spammers.
