Unfortunately gentoo ebuilds assume that autotools are available.
Initially, it failed in the same place while trying to build on debian.
If you already have autoconf and autoheader, it is merely a problem of
the wrapper picking the right executable. I will see if I can get
access to a fedora 14 box to fix this.
