Sounds great, modulo one key detail: let's have the discussion on the ipython-dev list (http://mail.scipy.org/mailman/listinfo/ipython-dev), not here. These will mostly be ipython issues, not Sage ones, so what we need is the attention of all the ipython developers to solve them. Furthermore, even if it's something where you need guidance on how to update Sage code, the rest of the IPython devs don't lurk on sage-dev, so by having the conversation here you'll bottleneck on my availability. I do my best to keep up with sage-dev, but I often tune out for weeks/months at a time if I'm too swamped. But on the ipython-dev list, the whole team will be available to help beyond what I can do. Keep in mind that at this point, I don't actually *know* the answer to many questions in IPython, since the code has grown far larger than what I originally wrote. So once you start finding out issues, let's start a fresh Sage-titled thread on ipython-dev, and we'll certainly (as a team) will do our best to help out. Hopefully with minimal work on both sides (ipython/sage), the 0.12 ipython release will be an easy one to upgrade Sage into.
