Yes, MeatAxe is in GAP (I heard that before), but I don't know in what
form exactly.

The C MeatAxe I started with comes as a collection of executables that
operate on matrices that are stored in files and do things that are
useful in group theory. I don't know if GAP uses these executables
(the to-be-finished spkg does not).
