I pushed the change to test.sagenb.org. Can you verify that the problem is
fixed there? Whenever sagenb.org is rebooted, the change will take effect

Looks to have fixed it. As long as the random seed on the notebook
code side can't accidentally be changed from within a cell, it should
work nicely. (Wow, that was fast work on your part-- what, a few
hours from the time I read the question to the time you pushed the
change?)
Thanks. You caught me on a lucky day :).
When does it stop being "the new notebook" and just become "the notebook", BTW?
We're working on that. You probably saw the sage-devel post up
advertising spkgs that people could install to test the new notebook.
I feel like things are pretty much ready for review. It feels like we
don't have any major regressions from the existing notebook. We've been
running (continuously tweaked) versions of this on sagenb.org for months
now, and there are hardly any errors showing up in the logs these days.
I've posted the spkgs to http://trac.sagemath.org/sage_trac/ticket/11080
and made the ticket needs_review. So, to anyone who wants to help with
this last review and effort to get the new flask notebook into Sage:
please install those spkgs and comment on the ticket.
Thanks,
Jason
