Hi,
after looking at the spkg/standard/deps file (in both 4.8.alpha6 and
5.0.beta1), I was wondering why patch isn't in $(BASE).
One reason would be that not everything depends on it, and so adding a
more explicit dependency is a good idea. But then, why would $(BASE)
exist anyway?
This apparent contradiction bothers me :-/
