You should check to see if the above two are still valid issues, they both respect CC=clang. > > ratpoints > http://trac.sagemath.org/sage_trac/ticket/7038 > > ATLAS > http://trac.sagemath.org/sage_trac/ticket/7048 > > f2c > http://trac.sagemath.org/sage_trac/ticket/7027 > > flint > http://trac.sagemath.org/sage_trac/ticket/7024 > > I suspect I have others too I've created, but don't have time to look. > > It will be intersting to try with the SunĀ compiler once you have fixed > these. I suspect that will fail on a lot of code gcc/clang accepts. This may take a bit, and may not be entirely possible without the help of upstream for some packages (I'm looking at atlas specifically, but there may be others as well). Some of the patches I'm creating are big enough that they probably should go into upstream as well. > (I know > clang is stricted than gcc, but I think it aims to be gcc compatible, > whereas the standard Sun compiler implements the C standard, although Sun > produce a front end that takes gcc code and then compiles it with the Sun > compiler > > Dave > > -- > To post to this group, send an email to sage-devel@googlegroups.com > To unsubscribe from this group, send an email to > sage-devel+unsubscr...@googlegroups.com > For more options, visit this group at > http://groups.google.com/group/sage-devel > URL: http://www.sagemath.org -- Andrew -- To post to this group, send an email to sage-devel@googlegroups.com To unsubscribe from this group, send an email to sage-devel+unsubscr...@googlegroups.com For more options, visit this group at http://groups.google.com/group/sage-devel URL: http://www.sagemath.org
