Yes, that is a known error. I have been looking for it for a year. There is no where in the jmol_lib.js that calls for anything called JmolApplet. All the applets are numbered and what is actually asked for is JmolApplet0.jar. It does not seem to affect the functioning of Jmol. I am assuming we've got some extra call sent somewhere in the plot3d code, but I haven't been able to find it.
Another possibility is that the standard Jmol.js is testing for the existence of an applet somewhere. That code does some of that, but usually not until after an applet is created. I'm aware of this bug, but I think it should be a separate ticket for code clean-up and I will keep looking for it as all it does is produce the javascript error/warning.
