The latest version of my group cohomology spkg is 2.1.2. However, the
current "officially Sage-approved" version is 2.0, which is more than
a year old -- hence, if you do install_package("p_group_cohomology"),
you would get version 2.0, not 2.1.2.
Problem: With recent versions of Sage (since several months), spkg
version 2.0 would fail to install. Today, I had an "angry customer"
who reminded me of the problem. The reason for the failure was an
incompatibility after upgrading Cython on the one hand, and upgrading
Singular, on the other hand.
The problem is solved in version 2.1.2 of the package (and it has some
additional features compared with 2.0), but it still needs review at
#9894. I'd appreciate a brave group or number theorist having
reviewing it!
