Can anyone help discover why the new distribution of eclib which I
have created (at
http://homepages.warwick.ac.uk/staff/J.E.Cremona/ftp/progs/eclib-2012-04-15.tar.gz)
fails exactly one test when compiled with clang but passes with
various new versions of gcc? (See the report by Leif at
http://homepages.warwick.ac.uk/staff/J.E.Cremona/ftp/progs/eclib-2012-04-15.tar.gz).

This is not a Sage problem as such, at least not yet, but this
repackaged eclib (which makes full use of autotools in a completely
rewritten build system) is intended to be made into a new spkg which
Sage will use. So it is worrying that the clang compiler produces
wrong code (specifically, it finds the wrong minimal model for some
elliptic curves, which some of you will recognise as rather serious).
