Hi everyone,
We are getting ready to release the "Sage Cell Server" 1.0. Well,
release means that we are going to advertise aleph.sagemath.org more
widely, semi-freeze the API for embedding into a webpage and the message
protocol, and move the existing codebase into maintenance mode while we
concentrate on fleshing out a design and code for the next generation
cell server. We've learned a lot about this over the last year, and
have a lot of ideas for how to make things better in version 2.0. We
hope to have a working prototype for the 2.0 version done in a few
months. If anyone has any bug reports for the existing cell server,
please let us know. If anyone has been itching to submit pull requests,
now is a good time as well :).
Also, I'd love to hear of any success stories about aleph.sagemath.org.
How are people using it, how effective is it, etc.
