At first takes a long time resetting hardcoded paths (sounds like someting need patching here...), then I get a prompt which does trivial computations fine. When I close, I get a message "Exiting spawned Gap process."... and when I start it again, it is faster to load, and on exit there is nothing about gap anymore.
