In fact, both works: You can either use the browser in the virtual machine 
that pops up as soon as you start it. But you can also connect your host OS 
web browser to http://localhost:8000 as in previous versions and use the 
native (e.g. Windows) browser to interact with the notebook server. 

I'll look into adding more fonts to the virtual machine so at least 
existing worksheets are displayed correctly.
