Hi Goutam, Please stick to the mailing list. It can easily be considered offensive to take matters off list where voluntary community support is involved.

With ATLAS, I suggest you turn off all power settings, such as suspend or blank screen or hibernate, and turn off all cpu frequency scaling, and try compiling again with sage -f /home/goutam/acad/sage-5.0.1/spkg/standard/atlas-3.8.4.p1.spkg This is possibly CPU related. You can post the output of: grep name /proc/cpuinfo Regards, Jan -- .~. /V\ Jan Groenewald /( )\ www.aims.ac.za ^^-^^ -- -- To post to this group, send an email to [email protected] To unsubscribe from this group, send an email to [email protected] For more options, visit this group at http://groups.google.com/group/sage-devel URL: http://www.sagemath.org
