In this case I think you followed the wrong instructions. You should post the 
file:
/var/lib/stickshift/4f7adf56a97a4aacab072b62c77462f6/app-
root/runtime/repo/sage-5.0.1/spkg/logs/linbox-1.1.6.p10.log
or parts of it showing the error. Just as a wild guess do you have a system 
wide ATLAS installed?
