Out of curiosity, where did you get this package from? If you want
to install gap3 under Sage, you might want to install the spkg
mentioned on:
http://trac.sagemath.org/ticket/8380
Note that gap3 can only be compiled in 32 bit (or emulation thereof)
which is a good potential cause of issues.
