Yes, that's annoying. When typing a multiline command, I used to hit Ctrl-C if I noticed a typo in some line. It used to bring me back to the prompt, but now it hangs in the multiline command, and there seems to be no way to return to the prompt. Hence, I'd highly appreciate a fix of the problem, or a work-around (How can one get a prompt when one is in the middle of typing a multiline command and does not want that this command is executed?)
