After upgrading my develop branch and rebuilding, I get this $./sage -dev checkout --ticket=u/jdemeyer/ticket/14867 Ticket name "u/jdemeyer/ticket/14867" is not valid or ticket does not exist on trac.
Working manually with git pulls in that branch off trac with no problem. And I used the checkout script before with no problems either.
