Trac adds in the zero-width space in its markup, I think. If you copy+paste from the trac web page then you can accidentally pick it up. It is a potentially valid code point for punctuation in name, though. We just don't have anybody who signs with a Kanji/Hanzi name (yet). For purposes of identifying contributors we can just strip it out.
