That's what I had in mind (not that I would know how to do it myself).
After that I think the natural step is to upgrade askbot (hopefully the
database doesn't have to be changed), enable captcha, and see how that
works. Then, if we have time and energy, we could try to figure out how
the spammer was posting so much and see if we need to take new measures.
