I was upgrading Sage on my quite old laptop (running ubuntu 14.04),
from 6.10 to 7.0. (One reason for doing thst is that this is a
32-bit system and that seems to be a rarity now). After the usual
"git pull trac master" I seemed to remember that form 7.0 one must now
do "./configure" before "make", so I did, and this stopped with the
following:

checking package versions...
The content of "/home/john/sagegit/build/pkgs/r_jupyter/type" must be
'base', 'standard', 'optional', 'experimental' or 'pip'

(the actual content of that file is one line containing "script").

Does this matter? I have not yet started the make process, as that
will take a while.

John
